hello beautiful people of the other hemisphere! this week wasnt all that crazy unfortuneatley....let me explain. i went to the temple for p day today! it is always so awesome to go to the temple. the temple over here is like an hour and half away from where my mission is. (unless you have a car, then it's only like 20 min) basically, you take a bus to the train station, then you go all the way north of santiago to go to the main city (basically the same as new york up there). the temple up here is itty bitty, but its still so fun to go and visit. when you become a missionary, you go through this process called twelve weeks. basically, its a program that the church has where you get a trainer and they teach you certain aspects of being a missionary, as well as how to teach the doctrine in an effective manner to investigators and menos activos. week 11 is the most brijido (sketchy) because in week 11, the missionary that is being trained takes the initiative with all lessons and planning sessions/meetings. needless to say, the first two days of this week havent been all that bad with me in charge! we contacted this guy that recently broke up with his girlfriend, and then resulted to doing drugs and drinking A TON. we taught him a little bit about the gospel of jesus chirst and how that these feelings of sadness that he has can be lifted with the atonement of jesus christ. he was so receptive! we have a cita with him this coming firday and im so excited to go back and teach him! down here in santiago, it has been getting freekishly hot, and then freekeshly cold all on the same day. you go out with a light sweater, feeling perfect in the temp department, then it escalates to literally dying from heat stroke, then around mid day and you contemplate wether or not that walking in the dreaded sun and heat is worth the energy. then you get to the night, and the light sweater that you have on doesn't help you, because you are now suffering from hypothermic shock, and wondering if you may have to amputate some of your toes. its seriously so bipolar!! its so funny though. to try and beat the heat, elder scott and i got some industrial sized trash bags and filled them up with hose water and then climbed in them. now im not saying i am a do it yourself king or anything, but i would listen to me if i had a channel on the DIY home network. love all of you to the moon and back! EKW the train station in the city santiago temple today with the house babes a little drawing i did the other day. i used to draw all the time, and kinda just got too busy to make time for it. its nice getting back at it a little
