ok ok ok let me explain. we were having a little lesson with one of the less actives in the ward yesterday. we were talking about how the area was pretty nice that they were living in and that the area was pretty "tranquilo". we heard some gun shots in the distance, and we all laughed for a second, cause you know, the irony of our current conversation. a couple minutes later, we heard 8 or 9 gun shots right down the street from the house we were at. the hermana of the family we were visiting walked outside, and told us it was her nephew who had been shot, and he ended up dying down the street from getting shot in the stomach....we ran into their house and watched over the kids while they went to the hospital. we ended up staying inside for an hour or so until all the cars stopped racing by and the police cars stopped racing by....it was pretty scary. other than that momnet, it was a pretty hard week. the majority of our citas fell through, so we were just doing contacts and door knocking. we did teach our investigators pato and fernanda though!! they are a young couple that loves anime and manga and drawing. fernanda is studying to be a vetrenarian and pato is studying to be a computer specialist. they are literally so awesome. we taught them the significance of the comandments and how they are meant to liberate us, rather than tie us down. it was such an awesome lesson! they are getting baptized in january because they have to get married beofre they can get baptized. i had my interviews with my president this week and they were awesome! all of yall should cruise to helaman 14 and read the last couple of verses. they talk about how there has to be an opposition in all things. if adam and eve didnt take the fruit and fall away from the presence of god, there would have been no way for us to know the difference between good and evil. there would have been no way for us to know the sweet from the salty. there would have been no way for us to choose gods path over the other paths. ill let all yall chew on that for a while until next week. also, happy thanksgiving this week! we had turkey for p day, but we ate turkey necks because they didnt have any other parts of the turkey at this meat place near our house. its pretty good....yep i love all of you from the moon and back! (sorry for the lack of pics, this computers I am on it literal trash, and not uploading my pictures...next week my friends!) EKW thanksgiving feast...it's lit
