gooooooooooodmornign cap- i mean mission viejo! as of right now, i am on week four of the ccm!! crazy crazy crazy. as usual, i am learning a lot of stuff down here in mexico. the spirit is so strong, its insane. i almost dont really want to leave the ccm, but i know that there are people down in chile for me to help and teach them. UGH I JUST LOVE THE GOSPEL TOO MUCH. ill just tell some stories about the week, in no particular order. my journal is opened up next to me, so we'll see how this goes. my companion ripped a hole in the front of his pants on accident, so we ran back to the casita so he could fix the half dollar sized hole in his pants. i was sweeping the house while he was sewing, and i found a dead cockroach on the ground. out of disgust, i swept it up and continued. as i was nearing the end of my sweeping THE LITTLE DEVIL WORSHIPPER CAME TO LIFE AND STARTED TO SCURRY AND MOVE IN MY DUST PAN. I SCREAMED SO LOUD, THAT IM PRETTY SURE I BROKE THE RICTOR SCALE. i ran to the front door and threw the little satanist out on the lawn and watched it fly away. it was pretty great :'''''')))). i gota package from my wonderful family this week!! it was such a blessing to get some stuff from my parents and siblings. they put in like some 18 gel pens in there for me to take to chile, and i shed tears because of them. the hermanas asked me if i cold give them each one, and being a nice district leader, i happily gave them each one pen for their scriptures. the next day, i see a little package on the front porch. it was a plastic bag FILLED with food and candy. "ELDER WATTLES" they gave me a little care package to me! it was literally the cutest thing ever. i seriously love the poepl in my district!! one INSANE thing that happened this week was on friday. it was 8:45 ish and my district was just chilling and studying, whatevs. this guy bursts in the door in a shookening tone. "I NEED 12 MISSIONARIES TO TEACH INVESTIGATORS RIGHT THIS SECOND." .....um oK LETS GO. my whoole district got up and marched over to the chapel, where we taught actual people!! IN SPANISH. it was insane! my companion and i had the opportunity to teach this guy from oxaca, mexico, and he was literally the nicest person ever. literally so fun to talk to. the gift of tounges was soooo strong in there, because he had a mix of spanish and mayan in the way he spoke, and i understood most of what he was sayin! CRAZY EPERIENCE. i found elder berrett finally!! ive run into him about every single day now, and hes looking like a super good lookin elder. what a good bean. what a good bean. i havent really introduved my whole district yet, so ill write a smol description of each of the peeps. ELDER CARTER: hes a humongous football player that got a full ride to dixie state. he likes to talk a lot and has a heart of gold. he loves to keep conversations going and is suuuper good at spanish. ELDER RIGBY: Hes a talland skinny dude that got a full ride from BYU for baseball. hes pretty quiet, but loves to smile and make jokes to us in our room. ELDER CARDWELL: he thinks hes a pretty hot stuff who is going to BYU. he wants to be a doctor, just like me! hes the easiest guy to talk to. patience level, THROUGH THE ROOF. ELDER MISKIN: he probably works the hardest out of all of us. hes put soo many hours working and saving money to come on the mish, that he goest straight to work. ELDER VEIRS: hes one of my california babes. hes from rancho cucomunga!! all you have to do is look over and laugh with him. he and i are going surfing when we both come home. its going to be lit ELDER MILLER: this kid is seriously in love with the hymns and musicals. he always loves to talk about how the hymns have strengthed his testimony. he also loveeessss politics and the news. he is probably the most respectable and outgoing guy here. HERMANA HANSEN: i totally would have thought that she was from california. she is so laid back and totally goes with the flow. she and i have the same humor, so it makes it easy for us to laugh when we say something completely irrelevant or dumb. shes really patient with my companion. love her to pieces HERMANA MILNE: i fetching love her SO MUCH. she and i are the exact same person. i kid you not. sge loves the same music as i do, she likes the hipster grunge vibes that i do,. she wants to be in medicine after the mish, and we laugh at each others jokes WWAAYYYy to much. ELDER JEX/WILLIAMS: these two are the power companionship here at the ccm. they are a little quiet, and like to study outside to increase their focus. after hours though, they are THE FUNNIEST people to talk to. I LOVE MY DISTRICT AND ALL YALL EKW My typical MTC breakfast.... almond milk and cereal with little enchiladas things. ugh love love love The note and bag of goodies from my sweet sweet hermanitas The pin from Whit on the inside of my bag.
