This week was pretty monotonous to be honest. Missionary life at the mtc has just been class for like 6 hours, and then we have weird seminars about stress or whatevs in the middle of the day, and food is thrown somewhere in there. Then sometimes we get to go to spontaneous devotionals from some of the mtc workers here. Gym time is pretty awesome though. i school everyone in volleyball. im polynesian, so im automatically good at it *mouth clicks*. I did take a nasty spill one game though. They dont have sand courts here, which makes it harder to dive and play and stuff. the serve was comin at me hot, and i dove for the ball, and literally sliced off my whole knee. It was pretty grand. it looked like i didnt have a knee anymore. blood everywhere. people were starting to think that i was going to be quadraplegic or somethin, but in reality i was totally fine. plus, i got our team the point, so *mouth click times 2* Overall pretty cool week though. One of the coolest things that has happened to me this week was Hermana Gomez, my morning spanish teacher, was saying a prayer in spanish for us at the end of class. you know how latino prayers are SUPER fast and like SUPER mumbled. well, as i was earneslty listening and paying attention to the words, and i understood everything!!!!!!!!! IT WAS INSANE. Like cmon people, the gift of tongues is like so real. USE IT. One of the devotionals we had yesterday was by one of the 70 from latin america. Pino was his name i think? he talked about the significance of our mission calls and how they werent generated by some computer or chosen by somebody, but that they were chose literally from our loving Heavenly Father. that really was an awesome talk for me because it really amplified the significance of Santiago for me!! there was the other some 400 missions i could have gone to, and iw as chosen to go to THE santiago chile south mission. im just so pumped to go, its not even funny. Oh, and that whole talk was in spanish too, and i understood the majority of it. *dabs uncontrolably* One of the funny things this week was when hermana milne was sitting in class studying. she got bored, and then decided to take her little hoodie, and start to sinch her hood slowly while she was singing jesus es mi luz (im sorry i dont know what the hymn is in spanish oopsie). I was seriously IN TEARS. I was laughing soooooo hard. And hey, if you ever want a sick scrip to help you get through the weeka nd remind you of Gods love for you, look up DC 122:7-9. Its a pretty sick scrip to look at. MUCH LOVE EKW The street I live on at the MTC At the Mexico City Temple today! Sick street art
